As summer begins to wind down and we get ready for a new season of twirling, we’re looking back at some of our favorite summer memories at Tutu School Redondo Beach—including our magical summer camp in June!

Our studio was filled with ballet stories, dancing, creativity, and new friendships as our campers spent their days exploring the wonderful world of ballet together.

A Summer Filled with Ballet Stories

At Tutu School, we believe learning about ballet can be just as magical as dancing it.

Throughout camp, our dancers were introduced to beloved ballet stories and characters, bringing the world of classical ballet to life in a way that felt fun and accessible for young children.

The stories became inspiration for movement, imagination, and plenty of twirling as our campers discovered that ballet is about so much more than learning steps.

Dancing, Creating, and Using Our Imaginations

Of course, there was lots of dancing!

Campers had plenty of opportunities to move, learn, and express themselves through ballet and imaginative play. In between dancing, they enjoyed ballet-inspired crafts and creative activities, giving busy little feet a chance to rest while little imaginations kept working.

Each day brought something new to discover, create, and dance.

Making New Ballet Friends

One of our favorite parts of summer camp is watching new friendships begin.

Spending time together throughout the week gives dancers a special opportunity to get to know one another beyond their regular ballet classes. They dance together, create together, laugh together, and cheer each other on.

By the end of camp, our studio wasn’t just filled with ballet—it was filled with friendship and sweet summer memories.

Looking Back on a Magical Summer

As we say goodbye to summer, we’re so grateful to all the dancers who made our June camp at Tutu School Redondo Beach such a special one.

From discovering ballet stories and making crafts to dancing with friends, it was exactly the kind of summer magic we love creating at Tutu School.
