Introducing Adult Pop Up Ballet Classes

Here at Tutu School Haslet, we offer classes for children from six months to eight years old. While we love teaching young children about the joy of ballet, there is no reason that you can’t join in on the fun!

Tutu School hosted an adult ballet class to support and encourage the love of ballet in our community of adults and parents! Miss Sarah, the instructor of this class, is thrilled to create a safe space where adults can dive into ballet.

What is Adult Ballet?

Adult ballet is a group class offered to anyone above the age of 18. This class is available and accommodating to all skill levels, meaning that no prior knowledge or experience is required to take this class.

  • Are you a beginner? – Adult Ballet Class will teach you everything you need to know to learn and grow your ballet skills!
  • Are you more advanced? – Adult Ballet Class will cater to your skills and allow you to focus on more difficult activities!

Adult Ballet Class follows the traditional format of a ballet class and includes the necessary techniques and steps for learning ballet.

Stretching – An essential part of every ballet class to prevent injury, increase mobility, and improve performance.

Barre – Barre is an incredible way to improve balance, build muscle, and work on grace and flow.

Center – This is where our work at the barre evolves into dancing in the center of the room.

Across the Floor – This is the part of class where movement takes flight! It is usually characterized by dance combinations moving across the floor.

Adult Ballet is a judgment-free zone where you can release your inner ballerina, work out, and enjoy the community of supportive dancers around you.

Ballet is an incredible way to take care of your body. Similar to Yoga and Pilates, ballet focuses on mobility, flexibility, and strength, making it an excellent form of exercise to target your entire body. Increasing your mobility improves many facets of your life, not just on the dance floor. Maintaining mobility allows you to feel more capable and comfortable completing everyday tasks. Building strength, especially in your core and legs, can prevent pain or injury in your back, knees, feet, and much more.

Keep an eye out for another Adult Pop Up Ballet in Haslet on Friday nights with Miss Sarah from 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm, the perfect time to put your kiddos to bed and enjoy a fun nighttime class!
