October Magic at Tutu School: Costumes, Community & Halloween Fun!
October is one of the most magical months of the year at Tutu School! As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, our studio is filling with a little extra sparkle, plenty of imagination, and lots of Halloween excitement. From finding the perfect costume to celebrating with our ballet friends, we have so many fun ways to make this month special!
Here’s a peek at what’s happening at the studio this October:
Find Your Halloween Magic at Our Costume Sale
All month long, stop by the studio, during our regular class hours, for our October Costume Sale! Whether your little dancer dreams of twirling like a princess, fluttering like a fairy, or stepping into a favorite storybook character, it’s the perfect time to find something special for a season full of imagination. We will have previous performance costumes for sale for discounted prices! We will also have an assortment of accessories available for sale as well.
After all, at Tutu School, every day is an opportunity to dress up and dream big!
Join Us for Our Halloween Party
Calling all Tutu Schoolers and friends ~ mark your calendars for Sunday October 25 from 2:00–3:30 PM for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun! Join us for an open-house style party with crafting, face painting, storytime and halloween fun… plus a special appearance and performance by the Sugar Plum Fairy Ballerina at 2:30pm!

Free to attend, but please email us your RSVP
There is no formal dance class at this party, students are welcome to wear street clothes or costumes. We’ll also read our October Book Club book; Monster Boogie. We can’t wait to fill the studio with lots Halloween magic and fun!
Get Ready for Costume Dress-Up Week
From Sunday October 25th through Saturday October 31st, our students are welcome to dress up for Costume Dress-Up Week!
We love seeing our dancers express their creativity and bring their imaginations to life. Costume week is the perfect opportunity for little ones to step into a character, embrace their playful side, and add a little extra whimsy to their weekly ballet class. We can’t wait to see all the delightful costumes our dancers dream up!
Dumbo does Halloween…with DUMBOWEEN!
The Halloween fun continues beyond the studio! Dumbo knows how to celebrate Halloween with their very own Dumboween celebration! Join us on Saturday October 31st from 3:00–6:00 PM for neighborhood wide Trick or Treating (while candy lasts)!
It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Halloween with our neighborhood community, enjoy the festive spirit of Dumbo, and make even more magical memories with your little ones. Check out all the neighborhood happenings at this DUMBOWEEK LINK.
