Back to Ballet in Alameda: A Special Performance from Alameda Ballet Academy

We celebrated the start of a new dance season at Tutu School Alameda with a very special Back to Ballet Party on Saturday, August 15! Our studio was filled with music, movement, and plenty of ballet magic as our young dancers and their families gathered to kick off another wonderful season of twirling.

One of the highlights of the celebration was welcoming dancers from Alameda Ballet Academy, who treated our Tutu School community to a beautiful ballet performance. Our little dancers had the opportunity to watch older ballet students perform up close—an especially meaningful way for them to see where their own ballet adventures might someday take them.

At Tutu School Alameda, we believe that exposure to the arts at a young age helps spark creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for dance. Opportunities like our Back to Ballet Party allow our students to experience ballet beyond their weekly classes while connecting with the larger dance community right here in Alameda.
